----o0o----

He is like a tree planted by streams of water which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither, whatever he does prospers.
Psalms 1:3

Plants are very essential for us. They exhale Oxygen that is a necessity for all the living creatures. Plants that are deep rooted in the soil produce a lot of fruits and give shades to others. Even the rain, flood, or wind won't uproot the plant. A man who is deep rooted in Jesus is like the house that the wise man built upon the rock. The rain, flood, or the wind cannot destroy his foundation. And that foundation and the rock is our lord JESUS CHRIST.

Let JESUS CHRIST be our foundation, that even when problems come to our life, we won't fall and we will be like the tree planted by the water, does not wither away, yield fruits for others, and prosper in every thing we do.

May Quiz

Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and life"
The resurrection of Jesus was the doctrine of every disciple, the faith of every true believer, the courage of every martyr, the theme of every sermon and the power of every Evangelist.

Luke tells us that we have "many infallible proofs" of His resurrection.
Let us look at some of these infallible proofs according to the eyewitnesses.

Identify the Bible reference for the following topics:

(1) After His resurrection He appeared first of Mary Magdalene-------------
(2) He appeared to the women returning from the sepulcher-------------
(3) Then He appeared to Peter-------------
(4) To the Emmaus disciples-------------
(5) To the apostles, Thomas not present-------------
(6) Again to the apostles, Thomas present-------------
(7) To the seven by the Sea of Tiberius-------------
(8) To over five hundred brethren-------------
(9) He was seen of James-------------
(10) He was seen again by the eleven apostles-------------
(11) He was seen of Stephen, the first martyr-------------
(12) He was seen of Paul on his way to Damascus-------------

MOTHER'S DAY - SECOND SUNDAY OF MAY

The 2nd Sunday of May is celebrated as Mother's day in the United States. The first time Mother's day was celebrated as a Church service for mothers in Philadelphia in 1907.This celebration spread throughout the United States. In 1914 President Mr. Woodrow Wilson ordered all the Public buildings to have American flag flown on this day and the celebration of Mothers day became official in 1915.

Can you tell who is the most important person in your life? " Mother". This is the spontaneous answer because nobody else has ever loved, cared and cradled as your mother has. Mothers start loving their children from the very moment they are aware of their pregnancy. They have to go through lot of agonies to achieve the long lasting motherhood. All the mothers will give sincere love and affection to their children. Children's character formation mainly depends upon how much love and affection they get from their mother.

-Dr. Thampi P. Daniel.
